Kyoto Kitcho Arashiyama is a high-end kaiseki restaurant in Arashiyama, past Togetsukyo Bridge. The course moves through dishes built on ingredients from their source, including chawanmushi, conger eel sushi, and salt-grilled Biwako ayu. Meals are served in private rooms facing the garden, and for anniversaries the restaurant prepares a dedicated hanging scroll and tableware. Prices are on the high side.
