Itsukichaya is a restaurant in Arashiyama, Kyoto, serving Kyoto-style rice bowls and seasonal Japanese set meals. Its signature item is a five-bowl comparison set that includes a golden egg rice bowl and a wagyu and green onion sukiyaki rice bowl. Reservations let you choose a seat by the river or by the garden, and the meal is limited to 50 minutes, so you leave at your reserved time. The river seats face a small stream rather than the large river at Togetsukyo, and at night almost no outside scenery is visible.
