Kissako

Kissako is a traditional tea house and sweets shop inside Ueno Park, a six-minute walk from Keisei-Ueno Station. Its signature cream anmitsu contains red bean paste, kanten, matcha and soy milk ice cream, topped with black rice flour. From 14:30, guests write their name and order on a waiting board at the entrance, and entry begins at 15:00 in order, with seating for at most eight groups. The shop is open only from 15:00 to 17:00, and the second in line waits 30 to 40 minutes or more.
