Miuda Beach & Seawater Bathhouse

Miuda Beach sits in the north of Tsushima, a 30- to 40-minute walk from Hitakatsu Port, and has a fine natural white-sand shore. The water is shallow and clear, and the coast was named to Japan's 100 Best Beaches by the Japan Environment Agency in 1996. The parking lot holds about 20 cars, the public restroom is kept clean, and showers operate in summer. During the summer peak, package tour groups arrive and the beach becomes less quiet.
