Shimizuya

Shimizuya is a tonkatsu restaurant on the second floor, a five-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station. It serves rosu, hire, and chicken katsu, with thick but tender meat accompanied by cabbage and rice, and the rice comes in small, medium, or large sizes. At lunch you may wait about 20 minutes, cabbage and rice are refilled for free, and an English menu can be requested. Payment is cash only.
