Mensho Kamayoshi

Mensho Kamayoshi is an udon shop in Tokyo that serves burdock tempura and udon. The gobo ten hiyakake comes with five large pieces of burdock tempura, and the noodles are chewy enough that they do not break easily. Both cold and warm udon are available, and the broth is clear with a strong anchovy flavor. Carry-on luggage cannot be brought inside, so it is inconvenient if you have bags.
