Satou Kichijoji

Kichijoji Satou is a butcher shop near Kichijoji Station in Tokyo that sells meat and fried snacks. Its signature items are menchikatsu and korokke, fried in-house with minced onion and vegetables for a crisp exterior and juicy interior. In the afternoon the queue gets long, but staff serve quickly and the line shortens fast. The menchikatsu is oily, so eating a lot of it can feel heavy.
