Monzen-nakacho Station

Monzen-Nakacho Tatsumi Shrine is in the Monzen-Nakacho area of Koto, Tokyo, near Monzen-Nakacho Station and the Fukagawa Fudo and Tomioka Hachimangu grounds. The surrounding streets hold Tokyo Metro Tozai Line and Toei Oedo Line stations along with old shopping streets and restaurants, and the Tomioka Hachimangu Reitaisai is held in August. On the Oedo Line platform is Takashi Tsurumaki's public artwork "Aoi Mon" (Blue Pattern), and Exit 1 leads to Fukagawa Fudo. Between 8 and 9 in the morning the Oedo Line draws queues and is crowded enough that several full trains must be sent through.
