Seonchang Hoemacha

Seonchang Hoe Macha is a simple eatery on Mado next to Sinjindo in Taean, serving whole rockfish (ureok) seasoned and steamed and grilled clams. The main dish is the whole seasoned steamed rockfish, and grilled clams can be ordered alongside it. The rockfish takes one to one and a half hours or more to cook, so it must be reserved in advance or eaten while waiting over the grilled clams. The prices are on the high side.
