The Oil Spill Recovery Memorial Hall stands in Uihang-ri, Sowon-myeon, Taean-gun, Chungcheongnam-do, in front of Mallipo Beach. It is a museum that documents the process of recovering from the 2007 Taean oil spill, showing records and photographs of volunteer work along with ecology and environment programs for children. The first floor has a large lawn area, and the third-floor observation deck looks out over the Taean sea after it was cleaned. A video experience room lets visitors color a fish, scan it, and watch it move as a 3D fish on screen.
