Anmyeonam, a temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, sits by the sea on Anmyeondo in Taean. Between Yeoseom and Joguneolseom in the waters in front stands a seven-story stupa, built as a symbol after the 2007 Taean oil spill. A three-story worship hall and several pagodas are arranged in a small space, and the grounds are bright with cherry blossoms in season. The entry road is narrow, and passing a tour bus is a tight squeeze.
