Nanpasen Tendong is a fried-topping rice bowl restaurant near the Namcheon-dong side of Gwangalli Beach in Busan. Diners choose a basic tendong or add shrimp or Nanpasen options, and the freshly fried toppings are served over warm rice with a sweet-and-salty sauce. The interior is small, with seating arranged efficiently in the style of a Japanese restaurant, and a fried egg can be added and broken over the sauce-covered rice. There have been cases of mold found on kabocha squash and kkwari-gochu peppers that were served.
