Munhyeon Gopchang Jeonmun

Munhyeon Gopchang Jeonmun is an old neighborhood restaurant behind the McDonald's at Suyeong Station that serves pork makchang. It offers salt-grilled and marinated grills, both given a preliminary pass over charcoal, and the marinated version is grilled a second time over charcoal to take on smoke. Meat is grilled in advance before serving, so diners reheat it on the grill at the table, and perilla seed sirakguk comes by default with refills available. The marinated grill has a sharp, spicy heat that is heavy for those who cannot handle spicy food.
