Suncheon Palma Monument

Suncheon Palma Bi is a monument near Jungang-dong in Suncheon. It commemorates the integrity of Choe Seok, a Goryeo-era official, and tells the story of nine horses he sent back. The monument stands along the middle of Jungang-ro, where passersby encounter it. The Munhwa-ui Geori culture street, Jungang Market, and Okcheon are nearby, and it was designated a Jeollanam-do Tangible Cultural Property in 1980.
