Suncheonman National Garden in Suncheon is South Korea's first national garden, with sections for world traditional gardens and themed gardens. In April tulips and spring flowers fill the grounds, and gardens representing different countries continue along the paths. The site is large, so a slow walk through it takes three to four hours, and there are many places to rest along the way. A small unmanned rail train connects the garden with Suncheonman Wetland, and in summer there are no vending machines or drinking fountains inside the garden, so water must be brought in advance.
