Okcheon Seowon

Okcheon Seowon is a Joseon-era seowon in Okcheon-dong, Suncheon. It holds the memorial tablet of Hanhwandang Kim Goeng-pil and was the first seowon in Jeolla-do to receive a royal charter. It is within walking distance of downtown Suncheon, and Suncheon Hyanggyo is within 200 meters. The gate is usually locked, so the interior is difficult to see.
