Eifukucho Taishoken is a ramen shop a one-minute walk from the north exit of Eifukucho Station in Tokyo. Its chuka men uses a broth brewed mainly from anchovies with many pickled ingredients, and the medium-thick noodles are served hot with high-quality lard. The shop opened in 1955, and customers order verbally after sitting down and looking at the menu, then pay in cash at the entrance on the way out. The basic serving comes with two portions of noodles, so the amount is on the larger side.
