Sahyeongje Muneo Gangjeong

Sahyeongje Muneo Gangjeong is a seafood snack shop at the entrance of Sokcho Jungang Market, selling octopus gangjeong and shrimp gangjeong made with East Sea octopus. The octopus gangjeong is fried until crisp, then coated in a sweet sauce that keeps the inside chewy. The shrimp snack is not a chip but fried shrimp eaten like a chip. The octopus gangjeong is lighter than dak gangjeong, though the sauce tastes similar to dak gangjeong.
