Tokyo Mentsu-dan

Sanuki Udon Taishi Tokyo Mentsudan is a self-service udon shop near Shinjuku Station that serves freshly boiled Sanuki udon and tempura. You choose the noodle size from small, medium, or large, and can also order onion tempura and mentaiko udon. At the entrance you order the noodles, then carry them along the wall to receive broth and extra toppings before paying. The broth is taken from a thermos, tastes weaker than the noodles, and is a little salty.
