Tonkatsu Suzushin is a tonkatsu restaurant in Arakicho, Tokyo, a few minutes from Yotsuya-sanchome Station. Its main dish, kakekatsudon, is made by deep-frying the tonkatsu until crisp rather than simmering it with egg, then topping it with egg and sauce. The open kitchen has around 10 to 12 counter seats, and orders take about 10 to 20 minutes to cook. Rice portions can be adjusted in stages, and because seating is counter-only, it is inconvenient for groups to sit together.
