Robinson Karasuma is an Italian restaurant in an old Kyoto machiya between Shijo Station and Shijo Karasuma. The lunch menu includes unlimited refills of about 15 kinds of small house-made bread, and staff walk around the room serving the bread they have baked. Even around 1 p.m. on a weekday, guests wait about 15 minutes before being seated, and there is a private room used by 8 people. A waiting line forms during lunch hours, so reservations are required.
