Chabuya is an izakaya in the Shijo area of Kyoto that serves yakitori and oden. It offers negima, liver, and tsukune grilled over binchotan charcoal, along with kamameshi rice. On weekday evenings the seats fill up by 6 PM, and of the two floors, the second floor is used with shoes removed. Even on weekdays there are no seats without a reservation.
