Waguri Senmon Saori

Saori is a cafe in Kyoto that sells mont blanc and chestnut desserts, with a view of the Kamo River. The mont blanc is topped with a generous mound of chestnut powder, and the shop also serves chestnut powder rice cakes, chestnut ice cream, and chestnut parfaits. Seasonal fruit desserts sometimes sell out around 4 p.m. Staff do not approach guests first, so even people with reservations may wait at the door or enter later than walk-in customers.
