Santo Saryo Café - Kyoto Tower Sando is a café selling matcha and hojicha desserts and drinks, located on the basement first floor food court of Kyoto Tower Sando near Kyoto Station. It serves a special-concentration matcha espuma cream latte and matcha ice cream, and the latte is whisked in front of you after ordering to bring out its deep aroma. The food court has plenty of seating, and the garden matcha parfait comes in eight layers including black tea chiffon, red bean, and matcha agar. The surroundings are noisy and you have to find an empty seat yourself.
