Paul Bocuse Daimaru Kyoto Store is a bakery on the basement first floor of Daimaru Kyoto, connected directly to Karasuma Station. It sells shokupan, French bread, meal bread, and sweet bread, with butter-rich baguettes and croissant-style items as the main offerings, along with a large apple pie and a citron cake. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays it bakes cheese bread and grape bread, and long breads are sold cut to order for a limited time with samples available. The number of bread types makes choosing what to buy take time.
