Nakamura Tokichi Shijio is a cafe on the third floor of Kyoto Takashimaya in Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto, serving matcha and hojicha desserts and tea. Its signature Maruto parfait layers matcha ice cream, hakugyoku, matcha jelly, and genmai. Orders are placed by QR code, a welcome tea arrives before the meal, and hot water can be refilled several times. The parfait is priced high, and the pancakes are dry.
