Renge no Gotoku

Rengeno Gotoku is a ramen shop in Sakuragaoka, Shibuya. Its main dish, bako tantanmen, tops thin noodles with deep-fried spare ribs and comes with rice on the side. You buy a meal ticket from the vending machine at the entrance and pay in cash, and on weekdays at 12:45 you can walk in without waiting. The broth leans toward acidity and lightness rather than a heavy sesame richness.
