Katane is a bakery in a residential area between Yoyogi-Uehara and Hatagaya in Tokyo, with a bread shop on the first floor and a basement cafe that serves breakfast. The "Parisian breakfast" includes a croissant or pain au chocolat, two or three kinds of bread, butter and jam, juice and a drink, and the baguette can be refilled. Orders and payment are made first at the basement counter, and the small space has five two-person seats and one six-person seat. The cafe is cramped, so a wait forms when it is full.
