Fuunji Shinjuku

Houunji Shinjuku is a Japanese ramen shop serving tsukemen and ramen near Shinjuku Station and the Odakyu and Oedo lines. The signature dish is tsukemen, thick noodles dipped into a heavy broth, and ramen is served as well. Orders are placed at a ticket machine at the entrance, and the ticket is handed to staff; diners choose between regular and large noodle portions. The space is small, so the waiting line forms directly behind the seats.
