d47 Shokudo is on the 8th floor of Shibuya Hikarie, connected to Shibuya Station, and serves regional dishes and home-style food from across Japan. The menu includes Matsuura aji fry set meals and tonkatsu, made with local ingredients, and staff explain where the food comes from and how to eat it. Window seats look down over the Shibuya cityscape, and on weekends it is safer to book ahead. The prices are high for the food alone.
