Shinjuku Gyoen Cherry Tree Area

Sakuraenji is a botanical garden for viewing cherry blossoms and other trees, located near JR Sendagaya Station by the entrance to Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. In spring, the trees bloom fully in a range of colors, and special events focused on cherry blossoms are held. Visitors can enter by tapping a Suica card or by buying a ticket from a ticket machine. The site can have queues for commemorative photos, and visitors come even outside the peak cherry blossom season.
