Kin'ō Sakura at Kin'ō Hachimangū in Shibuya is a historic cherry tree reachable on foot from Shibuya Station. It is a Juzu-hizakura variety, with single and double blossoms growing on the same branch. Designated a Shibuya Ward Natural Monument on February 18, 1982, the tree stands to the right of the shrine's haiden. A tradition holds that Minamoto no Yoritomo moved it from Kamakura to honor Shibuya Kin'ōmaru, who served his father Yoshitomo.
