Yoichi Seongsu is an izakaya near Exit 4 of Seongsu Station in Seoul that serves Japanese dishes and highballs. Its signature dish, Kansai-style hanwoo sukiyaki, pairs 1+ grade hanwoo and vegetables dipped in a sweet-and-salty tare sauce with a poached egg on the side. The basement-level space plays Japanese music, and the chef previously worked at the Japanese restaurant of Seoul Shilla Hotel. The room is on the quiet side, which makes it fine for drinking alone.
