Yeosu Hoetjip

Yeosu Hoetjip is a traditional Korean makhwe restaurant near Hoehyeon Station that serves hoe, seafood, and maeuntang. Its seasonal menu includes dodaeri ssukguk in spring, mulhoe in summer, and yellowtail, and the owner prepares the hoe by hand. At lunch, ordering cod soup and altang together brings them out boiling in a yangeun bowl, and an extra bowl of rice costs nothing. The portions of hoe are on the small side and the prices are on the higher end.
