Toenmarujip Doenjang Yesul

Toetmarujip Doenjang Yesul is a Korean restaurant on the second floor of an alley in Insadong, Seoul, serving doenjang bibimbap, traditional anju and makgeolli. The barley rice is mixed with gangdoenjang, sesame oil, buchu and vegetables, and comes with buteotguk, while buchujeon, ojingeo bokkeum and yangnyeom gejang are also ordered. A wait forms at lunchtime, and rice can be added for free. The doenjang, jjigae and banchan are all seasoned on the salty side.
