Sigol Kalguksu

Sigol Kalguksu is a small neighborhood restaurant near the Gonghang-dong resettlement area in Seoul that serves kalguksu and barley rice. Its menu includes anchovy-broth kalguksu, kaljebi, perilla-seed kalguksu, janchi noodles, and barley rice, with kimchi and mu saengchae made in-house. Water, kimchi, and danmuji are self-service, and hours run from 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily. At lunch, office workers line up and food comes out slowly, so waits are long.
