Ilseoksamjo Beoseot Maeuntang

Ilseoksamjo Beoseot Maeuntang is a shabu kalguksu restaurant in Banpo-dong, Seoul, serving mushroom beef shabu and mushroom maeuntang. The meal starts with shabu-shabu in a spicy broth of mushrooms and minari, then moves to boiled kalguksu and egg-and-vegetable fried rice that the owner cooks at the table. The kalguksu noodles arrive already boiled, and the fried rice is finished at a separate station once the pot is empty. One owner handles all the serving, so orders and responses are slow during lunch hours.
