Bakery Hugo is a bakery in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, selling sogeumppang, tongmil sikppang, chijeu beigel, danggeun keikeu, and ppaeng-o syokolla. Its dough and aging are well-balanced, while the ppaeng-o syokolla combines a rich cocoa flavor that melts in the mouth with pastry. Go early because the breads you want are likely to sell out later in the day. The sogeumppang and tongmil sikppang have a strong burnt flavor and taste heavily salted.
