Hwanghaeog

Hwanghaeok Gamjatang Donam Main Branch is an old restaurant inside Donam Market in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, serving gamjatang (pork bone and potato stew) made with soft pork bones. The broth is light and clean, the meat falls from the bone with chopsticks, and the potatoes are soft. The usual order is bokkeumbap made with a little broth left in the pot after the gamjatang. The broth is boiled down deep, so anyone expecting a heavy, rich taste will find it plain.
