Nanbai is a Japanese izakaya on a converted old hillside lane in Jeonpo, Busan, serving teppan dishes and drinks. Tokyo-style okonomiyaki is cooked in front of you and kept warm on the iron griddle, with samgyeopsal, shrimp or squid available as additions. Tables are limited to 150 minutes, the window seats let in a breeze, and an iron griddle knife comes out with the okonomiyaki. Seating is limited, so you sit close to the next group and there is often a wait.
