Elpis

Elpis is a cafe in Changcheon-dong, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, on the second floor of the Shinchon Changcheon Church Centennial Memorial Hall. It serves coffee, sweet potato latte, and muffins. Corner seats are set aside for studying and center seats for conversation, with wide spacing between tables that also suits group meetings. It is open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., and after ordering one item per person, the study room can be reserved; on Wednesdays and Sundays it can be noisy when churchgoers gather.
