Encore Kalguksu/Mokcheonjip

Encore Kalguksu is a noodle shop behind the Starbucks across from the Seoul Arts Center, serving old-style son kalguksu, mandu, and sujebi. The deulkkae sujebi pairs a nutty broth with thin hand-torn dough, while the pat kalguksu comes with a thick broth seasoned with sugar and the mandu have thick wrappers. During meal times a wait can form, but the food comes out quickly and a baby chair and a second-floor restroom are available. At those same meal times the shop fills with customers, so water is not brought to the table and refills of kimchi go unanswered for a while.
