Yeon Makchang Sasang Branch

Yeonmakchang Sasangjeom is a makchang (beef abomasum) restaurant near Sasang Station in Busan. It serves makchang and teuk makchang aged at low temperature in lotus leaves, with par-cooked makchang accompanied by mulberry house-made makchang sauce, perilla leaf wraps, chojang, and onion sauce. Ttaengcho scallop and mussel soup and stone-plate jjajangmyeon are also sold. The makchang comes par-cooked so grilling takes little time, and a self-service bar holds ssam vegetables and side dishes; the restaurant fills up around 6 p.m. even on weekdays, creating a wait.
