Mt. Okura Ski Jump Stadium (Ōkurayama-Schanze)

Okura Yama Jump Stadium is an activity in Sapporo where you can see the ski jump and the view, near Sapporo Shrine and Maruyama Park. Riding the lift to the observation deck opens up the Sapporo city night view and panorama on both sides of Odori Park. It was the venue for the 1972 Sapporo Winter Olympics, and a shuttle bus goes there directly from the station, with vending machines and restrooms throughout. When the wind is strong, the lift stops and starts, which is frightening on the way down.
