Fudo Onsen

Fudo Onsen is a day-use natural radium hot spring on the road over Yamanaka Pass in Kitashirakawa, Kyoto. After soaking in the indoor bath, you can order dishes such as hot pot, rolled omelette, and fried chicken in the rest area and re-enter the bath multiple times. On a first visit, the host guides you to an assigned tatami seat, and you rest in a lounge with books and blankets before bathing again. The bath itself is cramped when three to five people are in it.
