The National Lighthouse Museum in Pohang is the only museum in Korea dedicated to lighthouse materials and history. It connects to the Hand of Coexistence at Homigot in Pohang, and admission to the lighthouse materials is free. Four exhibition spaces hold media art and interactive installations, and a full-glass window looks out over the sea. An unmanned cafe is on the second floor, and the museum first opened on February 7, 1985 as the Janggi-gap Lighthouse Museum.
