Pohang Cheolgilsup is a park built along the former railway near old Pohang Station in central Pohang, with paths for walking and cycling. A 4.3-kilometre route combines walking and cycling paths with a stream, an artificial waterfall, and sculptures. It was converted into an urban forest after Pohang Station moved for KTX services in 2015, and a natural-gas flame found during construction in 2017 remains on site. Many residents walk and run there, and the route is used for night walks.
