Homigot sits at the eastern tip of the Korean peninsula, at the eastern end of Pohang, where the Sangsaengui Son sculpture stands above the sea beside a wide plaza. A walking path runs along the coastline and passes the Sangsaengui Son, the Homigot Lighthouse, and the National Lighthouse Museum. Many people arrive early in the morning because it is a sunrise spot, and the winter sea scenery stands out. Rocks around the Sangsaengui Son have coastal trash piled on them.
