Hwajeokyeon in Pocheon is a geological site on the Hantan River, with a 13-meter granite rock that looks like stacked rice sheaves and a deep pond. The Hantan River wraps around the rock, and basalt and sand spread out along the water's edge. A large parking lot and a campsite are attached, and Hwajeokyeon itself can be seen in as little as 10 minutes, with the Hantan River Columnar Joint Trail continuing on. There is only one restroom, located inside the campsite.
