Yasube is a small Japanese restaurant on Rue Sainte-Anne in Paris that serves charcoal-grilled yakitori and Japanese bento. The yakitori is grilled over charcoal in an open kitchen, and the bento comes with salad, miso soup, and sashimi. Hojicha is served by default, and there is tatami seating in the basement. Bento can take 30 minutes to arrive, and the charcoal smoke fills the room, clinging to clothes and stinging the eyes.
